What's stored, and where

Invoices and reminder history you add to Tactly are stored only in your own browser (local storage). We don't have a server-side database of your invoices — if you clear your browser storage or switch devices, that data doesn't come with you.

What gets sent to generate a reminder

When you click “Generate reminder,” the invoice details needed to draft it (client name, project, amount, due date, days overdue, the tone you selected, and any private note you’ve added about that client) are sent to our server and forwarded to OpenRouter, which routes the request to a third-party AI model to write the draft. That request is not stored by us beyond what’s needed to return the draft to you.

Quick Add (photo & voice)

If you use Quick Add to snap a photo or describe an invoice out loud, that photo or the text of what you said is sent to our server and forwarded to OpenRouter to pull out the client, amount, and date — the same way as reminder drafting. Nothing is saved after the request completes, and the fields it finds are only ever added to your invoice if you confirm them.

Analyzing a client’s reply

If you paste a client’s reply into “Got a reply? Analyze it,” that text is sent to our server and forwarded to OpenRouter to read its tone and suggest a next step. It’s not stored beyond returning that suggestion to you.

The help chat widget

The chat bubble on every page sends what you type to our server and forwards it to OpenRouter to generate a reply. It only knows about Tactly’s own features — don’t paste invoice numbers or financial account details into it. Conversations aren’t stored beyond returning a reply, and messages are rate-limited by IP address rather than tied to any account.

The free-usage limits

We use cookies to count how many free drafts, quick-add extractions, and reply analyses you’ve used this session. None of them identify you personally, and they expire automatically.

The Pro upvote button

Clicking “Upvote” on the pricing page increments a single shared counter — no account, name, or email is collected or stored. Your browser remembers that you’ve already upvoted (so you can’t vote twice), but that record never leaves your device.

No accounts, no analytics

Tactly doesn’t require an account and doesn’t run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
